The end is in sight for Game of Thrones, but not before one big final battle takes place, as The Night King and his army of the dead wage war on the living now that the infamous Wall has collapsed.
The eighth season of the HBO series got off to an explosive start earlier this week, as Daenerys Targaryen rode into Winterfell for the first time ever, with former King in the North Jon Snow by her side.
The premiere - which was aptly titled Winterfell - saw the Northern lords and ladies deliberate over their new queen, as they made the final preparations for the imminent war. While not without its faults, Winterfell was a solid final season opener - one that not only left us with many questions, but one that also gave us plenty of iconic phrases and quotes that fans will no doubt be paraphrasing for the rest of eternity.
