10. Jaime Lannister Loses A Hand
The Moment: At the end of Season 3, Episode 3, the captive Jamie Lannister is held down over a chopping block when Locke unsheathes his carving knife. After announcing that his father Tywin cant help him now, Locke swings down his knife and cuts Jaimes hand clean off. After a moment of shock as The Kingslayer registers his severed hand, he screams and the episode ends. The Questions It Leaves: Right before Jaimes hand is hacked off, Locke says to Jaime youre nothing without your daddy. But is he also nothing without his sword-hand? Deemed the best warrior in Westeros, how will Jaime Lannister cope without the use of his primary sword-wielding hand?
