Game Of Thrones: 10 Best Character Pairings So Far
5. Jon Snow And Ygritte
There is no denying that there was a spark between this Nightswatch-man and the flame haired wilding warrior. While the ended things badly, Jon and Ygritte brought something out in each other that made them better people. Jon became a stronger person through his relationship with Ygritte, something he'll need in the big battle to come. Through her he learned that not everything is black and white, good and evil, and in turn Ygritte found someone who would genuine care for her despite their very different upbringing; that's why his betrayal last season was so hard on her. In the harsh reality of life on and beyond the Wall, they found a connection that will last to the end of their days. Their relationship when it existed, might be one of the most genuine in the entire show. Even though he used her to get close to Mance Rayder and the wildlings, he loves Ygritte, there is no doubt of that. She still feels the same; she is wounded by that betrayal and it all looks set to come together in the next explosive episode. Can they ever go back to what they were? Sadly not, but then when did we ever get a happy ending in Game Of Thrones?
