By the midpoint of Season 1, Daenerys Targaryen is beginning to immerse himself in Dothraki customs as she carries the offspring of Khal Drogo. In order to assess whether the child will be strong, Daenerys is forced to take part in a ritual during which she is tasked with consuming an entire stallion's heart. As her brother, Viserys, looks on, Daenerys succeeds in eating the heart and proudly declares that a prince "rides inside" her. This scene earns its place as one of the most disgusting Game Of Thrones moments due to the sheer gruesomeness of the visuals. It's genuinely shocking to see Daenerys' face and arms coated in blood and is tough not to retch along with her as she struggled to keep the meat down. It's not as vile an act as some of the other moments on this list, but it certainly gives them a run for their money in terms of pure stomach-turning gruesomeness.
