Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Memorable Death Scenes

10. Locke

Starting off the list is the story of Locke, a character who was introduced in the third season as one of Roose Bolton€™s men. He made an immediate impact after capturing Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister when he and his men attempted to rape Brienne, until the Lannister intervened - this resulted in Locke cutting off Jaime€™s sword hand. Jumping forward a season, he is sent to find the remaining Starks and kill them for his Lord. He infiltrates the Night€™s Watch at the wall and joins Jon Snow€™s party heading north to Craster€™s Keep. On arrival, Locke finds Bran, Hodor, Jojen and Meera, and during the attack he drags the disabled Stark boy away to kill him. However Bran has a trick up his sleeve and takes control of Hodor with his warg abilities, using his huge friend to attack Locke €“ snapping his neck with one hand. It is perhaps the ease that Hodor kills Locke and the look of shock on his face afterwards once he regains control from Bran that makes this such a memorable death. Hodor has never looked like he would do anything like this since he€™s a true gentle giant, but to see his strength used in such a manner is quite the shock, especially as he dispatches a very skilled fighter like Locke in such a way.
