3. Robert Baratheon
Robert Baratheon was many things, a bad king, a worse husband, but also a hilarious character in my opinion. It may well have been Mark Addy's performance but Robert was the perfect combination of seriousness balanced with occasional humour. Even his death was tinged with humour, bowing out with a grim sort of dignity and pride that he took down the boar that gutted him. This winning formula of stern yet funny made him a very likeable character and it was a shame to see him leave. Thankfully the show still doesn't go wanting for the occasional line of comedy gold thanks to Peter Dinklage, but there will always be a rather large hole left behind by Robert.
