5. What If Arya Stark Named Tywin Lannister?

jaqenhgarHBOAfter the death of her father, Arya was forced to flee King's Landing in hopes to get back north, but she and her companions were captured and taken to Harrenhal. She then found aid in the form of the mysterious Jaqen, in repayment for saving his life Jaqen pledged to kill three people - an equal sum to the lives she spared from the red god. Her first choices are the torturer known as The Tickler and Ser Amory Lorch, whilst her third favour granted her an escape from Harrenhal, but what if she had named Tywin Lannister? If Tywin Lannister had been sacrificed to the red god, there's no doubt the armies of house Lannister would have fallen against the north, with Jaime imprisoned and Tywin dead, the only one left to lead would be the hapless Kevan Lannister. This also means Tyrion would have remained hand of the king and Jaime might have never been released. Looking past the war, House Lannister would disintegrate even if they did survive without Tywin to keep enemies of the throne in check, or to orchestrate schemes or alliances. Naming Tywin Lannister would have ensured victory for Robb Stark and defeat for the Lannisters, but Arya's safety would never have been a certain thing.
