Game Of Thrones Season 4: 10 Book Deviations We'd Love To See

10. Stoneheart Speaks

Seriously, guys. If you haven't read "A Storm of Swords", you're about to run into the biggest spoiler since Robb Stark traded in his wedding ring for a wolf head. Odds are non-book readers could never guess what's going to happen next €“ Lady Catelyn Stark, back from the dead to wreak havoc on Westeros in full-on zombie mode. "A Storm of Swords" ends with one of the series' most shocking and outlandish twists; and keep in mind when we say "outlandish," we're talking about the same series that beheaded its lead protagonist and made us watch a woman give birth to a cloud of smoke. While the twist itself is game-changing, Stoneheart has made only fleeting appearances. And because the Walders gave her a red smile below the chin, the not-so-late Lady Catelyn is forced to communicate mostly with guttural sounds and the occasional mumble. While this might achieve the appropriate chills in the novels, it certainly doesn't give actress Michelle Fairley much to work with. Our advice? Give Stoneheart some dialogue and trust the actress to bring the creepy factor. One of the greatest benefits that the TV series has over the books is the excellent casting. Actors are creative people too, and it's almost a given that the showrunners took the Stoneheart twist into consideration when they cast Fairley.
