Games Of Thrones Season 7: What 'Beyond The Wall' Really Means

1. The Ice Dragon Cometh

Of all of the OH SH*T moments in Game Of Thrones history, nothing comes close to what happened at the end of this episode. Not the Night King lifting his arms at Hardhome, not Jon taking his first breath after death, not the Red Wedding... Nothing competes with a f*cking ice dragon joining the Night King's forces.

It was inevitable the moment we saw the polar bears and then the dragon fell, as we already knew the Night King has the power to raise animals, but that didn't stop it from being an absolute white knuckle moment.

Crucially, it also means the living armies have an even bigger issue now and one that won't be as easy to deal with as the wights. We're going to see dragon on dragon fighting, and honestly, if that doesn't get you all sorts of excited, you aren't watching Game Of Thrones properly. Let's just hope Qyburn has something up his devious sleeves to help deal with ice dragons.
