For seven seasons we watched Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory and their lives in Stars Hollow. We witnessed as they both graduated, fell in love and had their hearts broken.

Lorelai is a bit of a force to be reckoned with. With a quick wit and a pop culture reference for every occasion, she is fiercely independent. Lorelai always determined to take her own path, though her love for her daughter takes her back to her parents to ask for financial help.

Though Lorelai can be childish, she is incredibly loving and puts Rory's needs before her own. Her love of her quirky town leads her to throw a wake for a cat, become living art and become ultra competitive in the dance marathon.
