Good Omens Teaser Trailer: 10 Things You Might've Missed

4. The Mob At Agnes Nutter's Home

Good Omens
Prime Video

One of Terry Pratchett's most iconic scenes is shown briefly in the trailer, with the mob coming upon witch and prophetess Agnes Nutter's home, there to burn her on the stake for being a witch (which, to be fair, she actually was).

Though it only shows up for less than a second, Neil Gaiman revealed in an interview at Comic-Con that it was a scene he had to fight to keep in the show, since it was one of Terry's scenes, and one of his favourites. Agnes Nutter as a character is certainly one of the funniest and most fun, with her ability to see the future completely accurately, no matter how mundane, and taking her own burning in stride.

There's also some screen time dedicated to her book that foretold Armageddon, the only truthful book of prophecies, The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, witch, which she wrote just for her free author's copy.

Having Agnes there to bring her wicked sense of humour to the literal end of the world is definitely something fans can look forward to.
