If there is anything Gotham City is known for other than being home to a certain bat-themed vigilante, it's the wild array of whacked out rogues. Live action or animated, campy or dark, regardless of the adaptation, the villains of Gotham City have always been the real stars.

In the series, the future Batman is still just a callow youth and the city is as much the main character as anyone. So, it's no surprise that the villains got even more attention than they usually do.

In the five seasons of the show, we got to see the rogues gallery evolve from a collection of relatively down to earth if not over the top mobsters to a small army of freaks, madmen and megalomaniacs who could give any version of the caped crusader a run for his money.
