Gotham TV Series: 10 Actors Who Should Play The Riddler

3. John Slattery

Although kind of a left field choice, John Slattery is one of the actors that makes the show Mad Men so great with his performance as Roger Sterling. With the show basically being an origin story about Jim Gordon and ideally other Batman villains, Slattery might be a bit old for the role. That being said, his ability to blurt out smooth and cool dialogue matches up with the slick talking Riddler. Perhaps the writers could do a re-imaging of Slattery being an original Riddler and passing the torch to someone else. Again, a left field idea and something that is not true to form in regards to the characters origins but these guys have to come from somewhere too, right? Much like a lot of other characters on this list, a Slattery portrayal would have to be more serious rather than the Carrey Riddler. However, it's not impossible to see him as a Riddler similar to what gamers have seen recently in the Arkham video games.
