Gotham TV Series: 10 Batman Villains That Must Appear (And Who Should Play Them)

2. Joe Chill

Joe Chill He's kind of the guy that started it all. Joe Chill, the mugger that killed Thomas and Martha Wayne. There are ways of going about a show set in Gotham and not having Batman. This is one of them... You need to show us that Bruce Wayne exists. Have in win an appeal in a court room, with Alfred or Lucius in the audience beside Gordon. As a character there isn't much special about him. He's been shown more than a handful of times in a minimal capacity, and even had a team-up with Batman where they were tracking down a killer together. All the same, Chill isn't anything special as a character. Joe really isn't a character though, is he? When you look at it, he is atmosphere. He represents what the Wayne's were striving for, he is old Gotham, he is the struggle, and he made Batman. Joe Chill is a lingering presence in the body of a common mugger. Still, he can't be ignored. Screen Shot 2013 09 29 At 13 12 31Ideal Casting: This one isn't about the character, anybody can be a mugger. This is about somebody who has a great screen presence. He's currently on a series now, but his fate is currently up in the air. I'd like to see Kim Coates hired on for this role.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
