Given that Gotham revolves heavily around a young James Gordon and also features his future wife Barbara Kean (Erin Richards), there's a fair chance that if the series goes the distance for at least two seasons, we'll see the pair marry and Barbara fall pregnant with their first child, who will of course turn out to be Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl. Unless the series begins employing heavy time leaps, there won't be any room for Babs to appear as anything more than a cameoing baby, but it'd still be a fun nod to her future, especially if she has a brief interaction with Bruce. How Likely Is It? 9/10. In fact, it'd be a huge shock if this one didn't happen, given that the pieces are clearly already assembled for it, and it's a relatively significant aspect of Gordon's future that can't really be ignored. If this hasn't happened by season three, we'd be absolutely shocked.
