Hawkeye: Kingpin Alive? 8 Details You Missed In The Finale
5. The Debut Of His Cane
There a multiple features of Wilson Fisk which are easily identifiable within the Marvel universe, both comic and cinematic. Including the signature white suit, his stoic figure and a crystal-encrusted cane are arguably the most blatant. Throughout Netflix’s introduction to the character, we saw Wilson’s origins developing into the infamous figurehead against Hell’s Kitchen from when he was a child but one thing the show did miss out on was his cane.
The cane in the comics is known to possess multiple abilities which prove useful in battle including emitting toxic gas and a reinforced structure for close-quarters combat. Another major utility the cane possesses is the ability to fire a suppressed laser beam powerful enough to vaporise a handgun.
So now the stickpin is in Hawkeye alongside Wilson’s side as we see it being used slightly during combat with Kate Bishop. As the MCU’s technology seems to never stop improving, it’s easy to guess that the cane’s future may contain some improvements.
