Yep, nothing says love more than HBO and rock'n'roll, so it makes perfect sense the network would capitalise on all those couples cosying up, or just all the single ladies (and men), by airing the first episode on Valentine's Day, which is - if you're not with someone, or just a terrible partner - this coming Sunday. That will be the first episode of what is planned as a 10-episode run, meaning that it's perfectly timed to fill Sunday nights while waiting for Game of Thrones Season 6 to start (that begins on April 24, the week after Vinyl concludes its first season). Us UK viewers needn't worry about a long wait for this to make the trip to these shores, as it'll be simulcast on Sky Atlantic in the early hours of Monday morning, and then repeated again on Monday night.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
