House Of Cards: 10 Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 3

2. Will Gavin Orsay Be The One To Finally Expose Frank?

One of Season 2's most interesting introductions was that of Gavin Orsay - hacker, FBI informant, and guinea pig lover. Used by the FBI to frame Lucas and curtail his investigation into Zoe's death, Gavin remains central to the story after he manages to extort both his handler and Doug Stamper. Firmly in the pocket of the authorities due to the huge criminal charges hanging over his head, but dangerous to the administrarion nonetheless. Exposing him to Lucas and his interest in Frank means that he's now the most obvious candidate to carry on the digging into the new president's murky history. Indeed it was his knowledge of Rachel that led to Doug's panic to relocate her and his subsequent death (maybe) at the hands of the girl he'd startled. Once news of this gets out, and a scrambled police force begins looking for Rachel, it's reasonable to assume Gavin will see this as yet more leverage to be gained over his government handlers and reach out to her. What happens then is anyone's guess, but if the pair seek out their mutual friend Lucas then the evidence held by all three could be enough to finally see the truth about Zoe's death reach the public.
