House Of Cards Season 5: 10 Big Questions That Must Be Answered In Season 6

3. How/What Will Claire Do As POTUS?

House Of Cards Claire Frank Underwood
Netflix

Claire Underwood is President of the United States.

After five seasons of watching her by Frank's side, steadily becoming more influential, it feels good to be able to write that. Robin Wright, and the writing team, has turned Claire into the most interesting part of the show, and it's just reward to see her elevated to Oval Office.

It's also a move that has lots of potential because, even though they're married, Claire operates in a very different way to Frank. We've seen his ruthlessness, his brashness, and how he deals with problems by taking them out, and now we're going to see how Claire handles those situations.

There's still a potential war to deal with, and the small matter of Frank himself. She's now a murderer, she now breaks the fourth wall, and she's now the one in charge. What's that going to look like for the show, the character, and the story?
