2. Rhys Ifans As Otto Hightower
With over 70 credits to his name, Rhys Ifans has been working consistently for years. A fantastic actor who has played a large assortment of roles from his breakout performance in Notting Hill to a person raised as an ape in Human Nature to a memorable cameo as Xenophilius Lovegood in Harry Potter.
His most high profile work being his turn as the tragic Curt Connors who became The Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man. Ifans has been a strong supporting player for decades and House of the Dragon should prove no different for the character actor.
As Ser Otto Hightower, Ifans plays Viserys' Hand of the King and is loyal to both his sovereign and the realm. HBO hasn't said much more, other than that in Hightower's opinion, the King's brother Daemon is the biggest threat to the Seven Kingdoms.
A long form drama such as House of the Dragon is exactly what Ifans needs to sink his teeth into over several hours to show off his great range.
