How Every Season Of American Horror Story Is Connected

Hotel doesn't only have things in common with Coven, however, as it also has plenty of ties to the original (and in many ways, the strongest) American Horror Story season, Murder House. During a flashback sequence in Hotel, we see The Countess turn up at the Murder House for an emergency appointment with Dr. Charles Montgomery.

That's not the only way we could tell Hotel was tied to Murder House though, as several characters from the first season popped up in the Hotel Cortez, including Marcy the realtor (who sold the Harmons' the haunted house) and - most notably - medium Billie Dean Howard.

This final entry not only proves that Murder House and Coven are connected, but it, in effect, is the last piece of the puzzle, completing the circle and thus connecting every season of American Horror Story together.
