9. Randy Wharmpess
Will Forte was in pure comedic fashion on the set of How I Met Your Mother, where he played Randy Wharmpess (pronounced, "warm piss"). He was an employee of Goliath National Bank's legal department under Marshall, and he worshipped the ground Barney walked on, hoping one day to become his newest Bro.
When that day finally came in an episode aptly titled "Rebound Bro," Barney did everything he could to help his new Bro as his wingman, but nothing worked. Randy was deathly afraid of women, and his nose "bleeds like a faucet" whenever he gets an erection, which happens when he talks to women.
Eventually, revealing that he was once a police officer offers the gateway to getting his laid, and we don't see Randy again until "Canning Randy," which revolved around his incomprehensible ineptitude at work. He drives Marshall crazy to the point of firing him, but Marshall relents and convinces his boss to bring him back.
Randy wasn't too pleased with this since he wanted to use his severance money to start a microbrewery, so he purposefully does even worse, so Marshall will fire him again. Eventually, he acquiesced, and Randy got to make sure that when people ordered a beer, they were drinking a Wharmpess (remember how it's pronounced?).
