19. Joe Nieves - Carl MacLaren
Joe Nieves played the role of Carl MacLaren, the manager at MacLaren's - the bar frequented by the gang. His role in the show is unique in that he was only hired because he had turned up on set one time wearing a police uniform without knowing his scene had actually been cut from production. No-one wanted to tell him the unfortunate news.
Since then, Nieves has landed two NCIS-related roles, appearing as Agent Brad Reese and Justin Kinnerman in one episode of NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigation Service, respectively. Alongside a one-off appearance in the critically-acclaimed Modern Family, Nieves would land a starring role in Disney Channel's Stuck In The Middle as Tom Diaz, the father of the lead character.
Following the conclusion to his time on Disney after 57 episodes, Joe is yet to land another permanent role. More one-offs followed on Blue Bloods and Station 19, amongst other productions.
At the time of writing, Nieves is also set to star as Carlos in Captain Tsunami's Army, which is currently in post-production. The film is slated for a 2021 release, with no official date yet known.
