How I Met Your Mother: Every Wedding Episode Ranked Worst To Best
5. Single Stamina
The wedding itself in this episode is incredibly short and we only really see part of the reception, however the episode as a whole is great. We get to meet Barney’s brother, James, and learn that he’s the black, gay version of Barney who’s an amazing wing-man and confidant.
The plot of course thickens when the gang learn that James is going to get married and while Barney rejects it at first, he eventually comes around and agrees to be James’s best man. This is a heart-warming moment in the show as it shows Barney believing that marriage isn’t just a scam and that two people can genuinely be happy and meant for one another.
The interaction between Barney and his new nephew, from learning that there was going to be a baby to the interaction with him at the wedding, gives the entire episode a warm feel to it as well as some humorous moments of the guys getting hit on at a gay bar.
