How I Met Your Mother: How Well Do You Remember Season Five?

Season four of How I Met Your Mother laid the groundwork for where the second half of Ted Mosby's love story was going to take him and his friends, sowing many seeds in its final episodes after what had been quite a low point in the gang's lives.

Now in the mid-point of this saga, we began to see some of those seeds take root: Ted finds himself embarking on a new career while edging closer to meeting the Mother, Marshall and Lily start to explore branching out as a family, while Robin and Barney finally open up to their own insecurities, as well as discovering each other in a new light.

While season five isn't considered as strong as the previous season, there's still a lot of classic episodes mixed in here as we continue along Ted's journey, with a couple of near-misses here and there on his quest, including the show's fantastic 100th episode.
