Set in New York City, How I Met Your Mother centred around Ted Mosby and his journey to finding his one true love. He tells the story to his two younger children about how he met their mother.

On the way, Ted was faced with so many challenges in the dating world that he almost gave up on finding love. With the help of friends Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin, Ted eventually found happiness.

The end of the series wasn't exactly what fans had hoped, but the episodes leading up to the finale definitely had us crying with laughter. The journey was definitely the best part.
