How I Met Your Mother Quiz: Match The Lie To The Liar

A lie goes a long way, if it's told by Ted, Marshall or Barney.

How I Met Your Mother
CBS

A show narrated by archaically romantic architect, Ted Mosby wrapped up to be one of the best shows of comedy genre. Although it couldn't reach the massive success of iconic series Friends, it created a loyal fan base who were ready to listen to Ted's slightly boring stories.

We all shared Penny and Luke's feelings - I-want-to-go-level bored, sometimes amazed, disappointed or overly amused. Yes! That's how you tell a story. The experience that Ted shared with his kids was exceptional - dating rules, advice, what-not-to-dos and canons of lying. The wizard of lies in the HIMYM universe was, of course, legendary uncle, Barney Stinson. Masquerading as a dating guideline, his Playbook was nothing but a book of tall talks to get girls. However, considering Barney as the ultimate liar of the gang is not fair. Uncle Marshall and Ted himself drove down the road of dishonesty on many occasions.

Can you match the lie to the character that made it up? Was it Ted, Marshall, and Barney - hint, the answer is not always Barney!
