Was it asked by a womaniser or an architect?

How I Met Your Mother is the story of how Ted Mosby met the mother of his children. However, going into the details, it becomes clear that this is a story about the antics of Ted and his friends in their 20s and 30s. HIMYM is one of the longest stories about the search for “The One”.

When, in 2001, Ted and Barney meet at the McLaren’s Pub, Barney takes it upon himself to teach Ted how to live; which in Barney's language means teaching him tricks to sleep with dozens of women. He considers himself Ted's best friend, but Ted believes the position rightfully belongs to Marshall. Still, Barney constantly ignores this, and Ted goes along with it, either out of cowardice or concern for Barney's feelings.

Portrayed as an egocentric, childish and carefree womanizer, Barney Stinson turns out to be quite a sentimental person underneath his elaborate exterior. Conversely, Ted is a pretty terrible person. He is whiny, selfish and dramatic. Although these two are extremely different, they also balance each other out well.

Well, whether Ted’s best friend is Barney or Marshall remains to be revealed by fans, but the question for today is just how well do you remember the dynamic duo and their quotes? Can you guess exactly who asked what over the years?
