How To Get Away With Murder: How They Got Away With The Murders
9. Ronald Miller
Ronald Miller was a serving District Attorney introduced in season 4. He would go onto establish a romantic relationship with Bonnie Winterbottom, and planned to propose on the night of his death.
There was real teamwork in this kill, between Bonnie and on / off ally of Annalise, Nate. Having rebuilt his relationship with his father and getting him released from prison with the assistance of Annalise, this is cruelly taken away from him by the Castillos who conspire to murder Nathaniel Sr. upon his release. This puts Nate in a dark place, and when he mistakenly concludes that Miller is behind his fathers death, and the absolutely enormous man launches a vicious attack that leaves the DA dying in the snow. Bonnie then comes across the scene and suffocates Miller, who is clearly not going to overcome his wounds, partially as an act of mercy.
Bonnie, who also suspects Miller at this stage, helps Nate pull himself together and dispose of the body. The murder would be part of the indictment against Annalise in the final season, but there proves to be little to link her to it.
