It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 12: Ranking Every Episode From Worst To Best

1. The Gang Goes To A Water Park

Without a single doubt, the best episode of Sunny's twelfth season was the season's second episode. This episode was so good that, frankly, it's a bit of a shame it was aired so early on.

The Gang Goes to a Water Park is all of the show's trademark qualities on full display. The chaos, physical comedy, morbid humor and excellent writing are all on point here. Dee and Mac get stuck in a children's water slide and cause a massive traffic jam while Dennis meets a young, thieving girl and takes her on as an apprentice in the art of deceit. Meanwhile, Frank claims to have AIDS so he and Charlie can be allowed to skip to the front of the long lines.

These characters can have all the touching, emotional moments they want; but make no mistake, they are reprehensible human beings. And this episode is arguably the funniest portrayal of this to date, season twelve or otherwise.

Each respective plot is handled wonderfully and there is no wasted time. Plus, every single thing that is established is payed off in some way or another, and the pure, unadulterated chaos that concludes the episode is unrivaled by anything else this season gave us. Add in the fact that every single actor involved, main cast or otherwise, turned in an all but flawless performance, and it becomes clear that this episode truly was the crown jewel of Sunny's newest season.

What did you think of Season 12? How would you rank the episodes? Let us know down in the comments.
