It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: 10 Best Recurring Jokes
6. Dee's Characters
If you thought Charlie was the only character with an arsenal of wild characters, then you haven't seen anything yet.
Deandra Reynolds is a person who constantly seeks the approval of her peers, and this is where most of her comedy comes from. Seeing the unlucky butt of the gang's jokes try desperately to make people like her and falling flat on her face is a consistently reliable way for the writers to get a rise out of the audience.
One of her most attention-grabbing antics is the host of colourful characters she has created, all of which are horrendously inappropriate. The likes of Taiwan Tammy, Crazy Paddy, Martina Martinez and Mr Covington all appeal to stereotype, making her performances entirely cringe-inducing.
What's worst about them is that she goes so far with the costumes, particularly for Taiwan Tammy and Martina Martinez, for which she sports some incredibly outdated make-up methods to look "authentic".
Seeing these characters pop up is always a delight, as Dee's ignorance to their offensiveness and lack of self-awareness makes them a punchline in themselves.
