It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 13: Everything We Know So Far
3. ...And Another Has Stepped Up To The Plate
There always has to be balance in the universe. In It's Always Sunny, this is no different.
Stepping in for Howerton, actress Mindy Kaling has been spotted on set and in pictures posted on social media by other stars of the show. It's not been officially confirmed that she's joining the cast, but a swiftly-deleted tweet from It's Always Sunny's creator (and star) Rob McElhenney referred to her as the 'new member of the gang.'
Kaling is known for being a recurring actress in The Office and her own show The Mindy Project, on which McElhenney and Howerton have both appeared.
Fan reactions to this rumour have ranged from 'angry' to 'really, really angry', however she's a proven actress with a particular talent for comedy, meaning she could be a great fit for the gang.
