John Bishops Britain Episode 6, Being British
After last weeks laborious search for a comedy gem amongst drivel I was less excited to watch this weeks offering of John Bishops Britain. I neednt had been. This week saw Bish explore what it is to be British and as always was aided by some celebs, a load of ordinary people and a few sketches. This week was a comedy gold mine as the ordinary folk managed to make me chuckle, Bish had me laughing and the first sketch of the night had me in stitches and genuinely laughing out loud. Bishs ability to tell a good story shone through in fantastic fashion this week. The sketch in question related to Bish being invited onto the Jonathon Ross show with Westlife, Courtney Love and Jeff Bridges. Bish being British managed to make himself look like a knob despite having something in common with the A List Hollywood actor, Bridges. I wont spoil the gag as it is worth stopping reading this very second, getting on the IPlayer and watching it right now. Seriously. GO!
