10. David Plays The Banjo
After the incident at Division 3, the gang is tasked with finding out exactly where it is he and Amy went. They appear to be at a loss, until Syd remembers that she has a way of talking directly to David: the aforementioned white room that he had created in his mind.
Syd focuses and enters the white room, hoping to find David there, which she does. What she, or the audience for that matter, was probably not expecting was to see David sitting with his legs crossed on the bed with a banjo. When she tries to ask what's going on, David simply shushes her and begins to play and sing some sort of bizarre lament.
It's only after discovering the telescope on the other end of the room that Syd realizes that the Haller siblings had gone back to their childhood home.
