Loki Episode 1 Breakdown - Infinite Infinity Stones & Evil Variant Loki

2. Infinity Stones Aren't As All-Powerful As We Thought

I think I could almost hear the collective gasp from around the world when Loki opened Casey’s little cart and saw all the infinity stones strewn about, especially when he then joked that they have so many of them that the office-workers use them as paperweights.

It’s like in the Simpsons when they say you can pinpoint the moment his heart breaks in two, you can almost see the exact moment that Loki realises the TVA is the most bloody powerful force he has ever encountered and to them, infinity stones are worthless.

Casey’s cart is actually full of Easter Egg type things: time stones, reality stones, a couple of power stones, space stones, mind stones (but no soul stone). According to some of the keen eyes on Reddit there’s also two different types of arc reactors alongside an ancient knife, a compass, and some war medals.

The important thing here is that it puts everything into perspective: for all of us watching Infinity War, Endgame, even WandaVision, the infinity stones seemed like some of the most powerful things imaginable. The Multiverse possibilities seemed endless, the idea of Nexus beings was exciting and new, but now we see that essentially the TVA has power over all of that!

Some people have even suggested online that the abundance of time stones confiscated and stored in Casey's cart could've been collected from Dr Strange on his travels.

Timekeepers, Multiverse, and Nexus were all words that would’ve sent us crazy if we heard them in WandaVision but now they’re just dropped like it’s nothing. The TVA has control over some real crazy stuff, now we’ve just gotta see how it all plays out.
