6. Are The Time Keepers Even Real?
It's a down right bonkers story, that from the very beginning Loki questioned with all his heart. Three giant space lizards, or Time Keepers, created the TVA and all of its workers, to maintain the Sacred Timeline. They keep order throughout the universe, essentially ridding anyone of free will in existence.
Mobius believes with all of his heart that this is his purpose, but Sylvie's revelation that the workers weren't created by the Time Keepers throws the entire story into doubt. This forces audiences to question everything, and ask what else the TVA have lied about.
What if the Time Keepers don't, and never have existed? As said before, the story is incredibly far fetched, and even Mobius, a relatively high ranking agent in the TVA has never had an audience with them, so there is currently no proof that they are even real. Could they be something manufactured by Ravonna Renslayer to help bring her power?
Aldrich Killian created and hid behind a mysterious authority figure in Iron Man 3, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that maybe Renslayer is doing the same thing. Her importance to the story is yet to be revealed, and this would make for quite the twist in the tale before the series is over.
