6. What Was Mobius' Life Before The TVA?
Coming into the series, the Time Variance Authority had never been seen on MCU screens, despite clearly playing a huge part in the background.
To fans, it was a completely new entity, and everything that they knew about it to begin with came from the likes of Miss. Minutes, Judge Renslayer and Mobius.
However, Miss. Minutes was in on the lies about the TVA from the start, and Renslayer and Mobius believed them with all their hearts. One of the biggest shocks of the series was when Sylvie let Loki in on the secret that the TVA didn't create its workers at all.
Instead, everyone working at the TVA was a Variant that had been picked up, and instead of being pruned, they were given a job. Hunter C-20 was from Earth, as was Renslayer, who lived as a teacher in Ohio.
One character whose past life hasn't yet been revealed is Mobius. Most fans watching wanted to see Loki's friend make his way home and finally get to ride on his jet ski, but Marvel Studios decided against this happy ending in season one at least. Hopefully, this is something that we can look forward to in season two instead.
