4. Where Was King Loki?
Throughout the series, there were many, many Variants of Loki that were introduced to the MCU.
Aside from our God of Mischief and Sylvie, there was Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, Alligator Loki, President Loki and his army of Lokis, and the few versions shown before they began the hunt for Sylvie.
As the episodes went on however, there was one more Variant fans expected to see that never showed his face. This was the version of Loki, seen in the trailers sat atop his throne, that came to be known across the MCU fandom as King Loki.
Thanks to the development our Loki went through, no one expected these two versions to be one in the same, particularly after the revelation that President Loki wasn't our Loki. Going into the series finale, since King Loki hadn't yet appeared, some fans theorised that he would be revealed as the man behind the TVA.
This of course was debunked with the appearance of He Who Remains, so where does that leave King Loki? Was he there simply as a red herring to throw fans off, or could he be set to appear in the now confirmed second season of the show?
