Diamondback shows up at the climax of the penultimate episode kitted out in a ridiculous-looking, armoured supervillain costume. It only gets funnier when Bobby Fish says, "What the hell? What kinda Jean-Paul Gaultier s*** is this? What are you, a pimp stormtrooper?"

As absurd as it looks, it does lead to an excellent, prolonged streetfight between Luke and Diamondback in the season finale, a brutal boxing match with some highly amusing crowd interaction to boot, intercut with flashback clips of the two brothers sparring as youngsters.

Drawing attention to how silly Diamondback looked was definitely the right call here: it meant that it didn't clash quite so harshly with the more serious, gritty tone.
