Luke Cage Season 2 Trailer Reactions: 6 Ups & 2 Downs

1. The Last Line

The final scene of the trailer, with Luke Cage and Misty Knight fighting together, is a good one right up until Misty asks Luke why he can't be her sidekick.

"It's my show," comes the response.

In the context of the series it may make a little more sense, but watching it here it feels like an attempt at meta-humour that's way too forced and not fully in keeping with the character (even with his new attitude). It's hard to imagine the show actually doing any fourth-wall breaking like that, but it's still a strange line to end on.
