Mad Men Finale: 10 Theories For How It Could End

1. Sally and Don Reconcile

The relationship between Don and his daughter may well be the most central to Mad Men, even if it€™s one we only see on an occasional basis. As bad TV fathers go, Don Draper probably sits just above Walter White and Tywin Lannister, while Sally has shown - unsurprisingly - a fair amount of teenage rebellion. In fairness, given all she€™s witnessed, it€™s a credit to her she hasn't suffered some sort of Lindsay Lohan level breakdown... yet. If Don is to avoid the same grisly end as his two fellow not-so-doting dads mentioned above, and Sally is to avoid being emotionally scarred for the rest of her life, a complete reconciliation of the two may be needed. It€™s perhaps what Don needs more than anything in order to find peace, and if the final scene of the show were to focus on these two characters then I don€™t think many would complain.
