Mad Men Finale: 10 Theories For How It Could End

7. Happily Ever After It€™d be a bit of a stretch for Mad Men to have a totally happy ending for its major players, but then again creator Matthew Weiner loves to subvert expectations, and surely most wouldn€™t begrudge Don turning things around and everything ending well for the rest of the agency and Don's family. Not Pete, though. No one wants things to end well for Pete Campbell, except of course Pete Campbell himself, and he€™s so self-destructive he€™s unlikely to get what he wants anyway. Ken Cosgrove would finally publish a novel (unless he already has...), going on to top all bestseller lists and receive critical acclaim; Stan Rizzo finds love; Michael Ginsberg begins to make a recovery, and has reconstructive nipple surgery. Betty finds a purpose outside of her family; Bobby stops mysteriously changing his appearance every couple of years; and Roger - well, Roger would just continue being his usual awesome self. Life is pretty great if you€™re Roger Sterling.
