Mad Men Finale: 10 Theories For How It Could End

5. Don Draper is D.B. Cooper

This is an online favourite, one that is so outlandish you know it can€™t possibly happen, yet if you spend far too much time thinking about it and connecting the dots then actually there€™s no way this won€™t! D.B. Cooper was a man, or, rather, there was an anonymous man who is referred to as D.B. Cooper, who on a flight from Portland to Seattle alerted an attended that he had a bomb, and demanded $200,000 and two parachutes. After the plane landed and the other passengers got off, it took off again with just Cooper and the crew on board. Once back in the air, with one parachute filled with cash and the other around his waist, he forced the crew into the cockpit, while he remained on the other side. He jumped out of the plane and was never seen again. An FBI composition drawing shows he looks a bit like Don Draper (if Don Draper were a real person and not played by a non-ageing Hollywood A-lister). Also, there was all that focus on airplanes. And they are both men using an alias. And Don€™s old boss was called Cooper! It all fits! What more proof could you possibly need?!
