18. Claire Temple

As well as Claire obviously reappearing in the show as the only mainstay from all of the Netflix shows so far, there are hints in Iron Fist to her wider role in the Netflix Marvel Universe.

She makes references at a couple of points to her past association with superheroes - saying "live in this city long enough nothing surprises you any more" - despite the fact that she won't believe in K'un-Lun. Apparently bullet proof men, mind-controllers and blind ninjas are far more believable than magical fists.

And more interestingly, she mentions that her mother says that it's her destiny to meet people like Iron Fist. How right her mother is: Claire will eventually become Night Nurse (though she's pretty much already there), and she will be key to The Defenders. That's precisely why Madame Gao's taunting of her about failing Daredevil and Luke Cage as well as Danny Rand hits her so harshly.

The best reference of the show seems to suggest that Claire might be about to become White Tiger herself rather than just Night Nurse. When she claims the claw amulets for herself at the end of the last episode, she's effectively stealing Tiger's origin. That would be a very interesting way to go.
