After being pushed away by Jessica, who somehow doesn't forgive her for killing her mother, Trish is off to resume normal life when she drops her phone - and then everything slows and she catches it perfectly on her foot.

The moment itself is a little silly, but the consequences are huge for the show: it means that the experiment on Trish DID work, that she does have powers, and is now positioned to fully become Hellcat.
