The end of episode 5 was when the season's plot really started to kick into gear, with what seemed like the Big Bad being more out in the open and displaying her powers, while Jessica herself got closer to the mystery than ever before.

The woman we'd come to know as Alisa smashes the tank upon sight of Jessica, leading to a chase sequence, but the more surprising moments come before then: Jessica spotting Dr Malus causes Jessica to have a flashback, seeing him as the doctor who operated on her, and even weirder is that he appears to be in a romantic relationship with the villain.
