An even better, weirder, and funnier moment in that same scene comes just moments later, once Luke has entered the store.

After clearly spooking the criminals, he takes the phone from one of them. When he keeps on trying to talk to Luke in a panic, Luke simply pats him on the head and knocks him out. It's a brilliant show of strength, and utterly hilarious as well - the sort of moment that's destined to be gif'd.
