With Cottonmouth telling his men to hit every business hard, it's probably no surprise that one comes under fire. And, of course, it just so happens to be where Luke Cage is.

Bullets rain down on a barbershop, and there's an unfortunate casualty. Cage may be protected by his skin, but the person he's with isn't, and while we don't get a good look at them, our hero looks pretty distraught at what happens, and this is made to look like its a catalyst for him becoming a hero and going up against Cottonmouth. It's after this that Claire tells him if he wants justice he'll have to get it himself, and that's what he decides to do.
