Marvel's The Defenders: 23 Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

1. Punisher

In the usual trend established by Marvel movies, The Defenders contains a post-credits stinger in the shape of the first teaser for Netflix's Punisher series.

Loyal fans who kept watching for the names to stop rolling were rewarded with an emotive trailer for the Jon Bernthal-starring show. By the look of it, it's going to be as gritty and violent as Frank Castle's involvement in Daredevil season 2.

Rather ominously, the trailer has Castle say: "All the things that I’d done; memories… they never hurt me. But the past, it’s more than memories... it’s the devil you sold your soul to. He’s coming. He’s coming to collect."

Let's hope it's more towards the Daredevil end of the quality scale and less Iron Fist...
