Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 TV Shows That Need To Happen

5. Spider-Woman

This one is unfortunately pretty unlikely due to Marvel having just made a TV series starring a superheroine called Jessica, but an adaptation of Jessica Drew AKA Spider-Woman would be a great addition to Marvel's line-up. Despite the failure of Sony's Amazing Spider-Man franchise, their aim to expand Spider-Man lore was a great one and something Marvel should continue now that the webslinger is back in the fold. While she shares Peter's powers, Jessica is a completely capable hero in her own right. A great idea to adapt to TV would be her stint as an agent of SWORD, the counterpart of SHIELD which protects Earth from extraterrestrial threat. Alternatively, Marvel could utilise the Spider-Woman from the Ultimate comics instead. If they did, the character would be their first gay protagonist on-screen, something that does need to happen soon. Unlike others on this list, Spider-Woman has actually already featured in her own show, albeit a 1970s animated series. Watch the intro below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6w0c3kKSyg
